There were 10 nominees for the Poker Hall of Fame Class of 2010 but only 2 slots were available. Dan Harrington and Erik Seidel were the lucky champions chosen to join the ranks of poker's most prestigious players.

"Action Dan" Harrington first cashed in at the World Series of Poker in 1986, then made the final table the very next year finishing in 6th place. He won the Main Event in 1995, but has since made the final tables in 2003 and 2004. Harrington is one of only 5 players to have won the WSOP Main Event and a World Poker Tour Title, plus he's co-authored 5 books on the game.
Erik Seidel boasts 8 WSOP bracelets in 5 different games, including Hold 'Em, Omaha, and Deuce to Seven Draw. His first tournament appearance turned into his most famous, playing heads-up against Johnny Chan in the 1988 Main Event. The final hand was featured in the film Rounders. Seidel's live tournament winnings are over $10 million. He's thrilled to be among the best bettors, saying, "I’m very honored to be elected to the Poker Hall of Fame this year and it’s an extra bonus for me to be going in with Dan Harrington. We have played together and have been great friends for my entire poker career. Both of us refined our games at the Mayfair Club in New York. I have such a high regard for the many members of the Poker Hall of Fame that I have played with over the years and it’s a real privilege to be able to join them."
The 2 poker professionals will be officially inducted during a ceremony preceeding the World Series of Poker Main Event on November 8th at the Rio in Las Vegas.
