On Monday, Caesars Palace and Nobu Hospitality announced plans to develop the world’s first Nobu hotel.
The two companies will join forces to transform Caesar’s aging Centurion Tower into a luxury, 180-room hotel, complete with 16 suites and a penthouse. A 9,500 square foot Nobu restaurant will serve as the hotel’s centerpiece, offering the famous Nobu fare both in the dining room and in guest rooms. Hotel guests will also enjoy traditional Japanese comforts like signature sake, green tea, and hot towels.
Nobu already has a restaurant at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, but the new property will be the company’s first on the famed Vegas Strip. Nobu Hospitality is co-owned by Robert de Niro, Meir Teper, and master chef Nobu Matsuhisa.
“With a renowned location in Caesars Palace, the luxury Nobu Hotel Las Vegas will be a destination for style-makers and trendsetters, offering an immersive, fun and, social experience,” said a press release. Guests will also “enjoy private check-in and the unique benefit of room service from Nobu’s acclaimed culinary team."
Caesars Palace President Gary Selesner estimates the new Nobu Hotel, Restaurant, and Lounge will open in about 15 months.
Nobu Hospitality CEO Trevor Horwell says he hopes it's the first of many Nobu hotels around the world.
